Guys, I am so annoyed right now… I downloaded the new Lightroom, to up my editing game. I used to have it many years ago, but my version was outdated and just not working. So I switched to their new plan, and of course had to learn how to use it. Spent three days doing so… just to realize how shitty iPhone pictures actually are.

I made a bunch of folders okay, mostly set of photos I shot with my iPhone 12 Pro Max, mind you they are good quality. But once on Lightroom they looked washed out. Absolutely gross. Impossible to edit. Thankfully I had two sets I shot, one with my Leica, and a second one with a Canon I borrowed at my Art class. Basically had to delete all the other folders, apart from these two.

The Alps will have to wait a bit, because they were shot on iPhone and I gotta use an app like VSCO to edit them. I’m focusing on the other two to begin with, because I didn’t spent three days to learn how to use Lightroom to not do so.

This first set was shot with my Leica V-Lux (Typ 114), and it’s sunset visible from my balcony. The zoom on that camera is incredible. Good news is now that I want to spend more time editing on my Mac with Lightroom, it will force me to use my Leica & Nikon instead of shooting mostly with my iPhone. Enjoy !
