Between heaven & earth

This was one my most adventurous hikes !…

I’ve never hiked much, unlike my boyfriend who’s into all kinds of sports, I’m not very sporty. I used to hike a bit when I was living in L.A., but it was nothing like the hike I went on to get to Preveli beach.

Honestly, I wasn’t prepared ! I got a bit of vertigo, a sunburn, and the way up was the worse, but the views were worth it. The beach is surrounded by beautiful tall palms, but to access it you gotta get down from the top of a hill (which is very rocky), or find a boat ride from a nearby city with a harbor.

Yes, so it’s pretty much crazy. There is a little cafe down there, believe it or not. I was shocked, but you can order some simple foods & drinks, and the shades from the palms are pleasant. The most unusual thing ever is that there is an actual river that stops right at the sea, there’s a sand formation that separates the two. Very beautiful and cool.
