MY PALEO DIET DIARY
Day 2

1

09:30 am – okay, I am definitively not feeling well… I was
so “mind-starving” yesterday, I ate literally anything I
could and that was paleo; I just ate so much I thought I
exploded my tummy from the inside, it hurt me so bad. I
couldn’t even lay down or do nothing.

I was just so mad at myself for starting this new “extreme”
diet, and then being stubborn as my usual & not wanting
to give it up (although I clearly sometimes, like this time,
should give up !), and of course, I was super mad for
allowing myself to keep eating even though I wasn’t hungry,
until I felt the pain in my stomach that made me finally stop.

On the bright side of this, I noticed that I didn’t get a
fat belly, although I ate so many stuff you would have
thought you hallucinated if you’d seen. Looks like this paleo
diet helps keeping a really flat belly, even though I ate lots,
I didn’t get a “bump” and that’s a really awesome thing.

But on the inside, I felt my stomach was basically done, that
I destroyed it with the enormous quantity of food I ingested.
My mom was like “why are you eating this much ?” and the
only reason was because I wasn’t feeling satisfied even
though, I ate like insane all day.

So in conclusion, I only had a banana for breakfast this
morning and I could barely finish it, I forced myself because
I needed to eat something so I don’t faint later, but I was
not hungry at all. I feel so full from yesterday’s paleo feast
madness, that I could probably vomit if I eat a little too
much today.

I’m gonna keep it real light, drink a lot of water to get rid
of everything I ingested; my current mood is : NO MORE
FOOD PLEASE !

Day 1105:45 pm – I LIED OKAY !! THIS PALEO DIET IS KILLING ME ! I
AM LITERALLY DYING RIGHT NOW… *sobbing* OH WHY GOD
WHY AM I DOING THIS TO MYSELF ! I can’t believe how hard it
is… I thought I was mentally enough prepared to challenge
myself with a new “extreme” diet, I’m kind of used to these
type of crazy stuff usually, but gosh this one, oh my God it’s
terrible; I’m not even starving but the problem is I can’t
keep my mind thinking of REAL FOOD you know… you’ve got
no clue what I’d give right now for a piece of pizza, I
almost want to cry, I kid you not… I’m hating myself so much
for doing this;

and I know what y’all must be thinking : it’s only day one &
I’m already acting like a mad motherf*cker about it – yeah you
know what, you, whoever thinks this… it’s not funny ! I am
literally losing my mind, I’m so tired and unsatisfied food wise,
I did not expect this shit to be like this. So seriously, if I
ain’t dead by tomorrow and survive this first day of Paleo diet,
it’s gonna be f*cking amazing !

I was looking through my iPhone pictures, and found these food
ones, from BEFORE starting this AWFUL Paleo diet… looking at
them makes me even more miserable. I’m gonna die… how am I
gonna deal without my favorite gluten free vegan pizza ? This
is the worst day of my life.23

FLIGHT THOUGHTS

Screen Shot 2015-06-01 at 1.56.56 PMEven though I don’t like the seat screens on the plane, I have to admit because my life is busy with different work projects, I don’t have much time to watch movies. It’s one thing that I enjoy, being able to catch up on the latest releases during a flight.

I love flying Swiss, being able to see my best friend Barbara in Zurich during the layovers is the perfect break for me. I always miss her so much, any minute we spend together is precious to me 🙂

To avoid jet lag I don’t sleep on the plane, which is not as hard as most people would think, even if it’s a long haul flight. Drinking lots of juices helps too ! I book my flights so that I can arrive early in the evening, so by the time I get to my place, I can crush in bed and get a good night sleep & wake up the next morning all fresh and jet lag free…

of course, I can’t always book my flights this way, and sometimes I have to deal with jet lag and sleep deprivation on a level close to zombie lobotomy. But I still love traveling & flying; it’s a beautiful feeling.

THE PLAEO DIET & CELEBRITIES THAT FOLLOW IT

I recently switched from my gluten free pescatarian diet to paleo,
which is supposed to be the healthiest diet ever, it’s recommended
by actual doctors. It consists in eating like our ancestors did,
which means only the foods that existed back then, totally
unprocessed. I really dig the concept and I have to admit since I
started it, I clearly noticed some positive changes on my skin, I
have less breakouts, my digestive system too, I have no more
trouble on that side, and also my mood, I am usually very moody
but my mood swings have almost disappeared, I’m feeling better,
more content somehow.

Oh and I know what you must be thinking : this is the type of diet
that will leave you starving, and it couldn’t be further from the
truth. Animal proteins and vegetables are nourishing and satisfying,
they marry well together and paleo dishes are simply delicious. It
gives me appetite, I eat with pleasure and gourmandise. I can just
eat all my heart wants because I won’t get fat from it 🙂
and it’s healthy !

No more paying attention or small bites, it’s ogre time 😛
I would totally recommend to try it at least, it’s 100% gluten free
and it should improve your diet habits. Now to motivate if y’all
need, there is a couple celebrities that are following the paleo
diet : most notorious one must be Miley Cyrus, but also Megan Fox,
Jessica Biel, Uma Thurman, Matthew McConaughey, etc… do it !
