EATALY is a famous marketplace chain, with restaurants inside !
My sister & I met again for lunch (this is becoming a series for us 😅). We were in the mood for Italian food, and since we were at the BHV we thought to ourselves, let’s go to Eataly since it’s close-by. I am not a fan of these food chain places, but they do serve occasionally good things, also I happen to know that they have a fair wine selection here.
I have already shared this place with you guys, but never reviewed it for my “Food” category (click to see all related posts). So here we go !
I actually celebrated my 32nd birthday there last year… my boyfriend made me discover this place the first time around, and we then became usuals. Whenever I craved some good Italian food, this was the place I wanted to be.
Not only is their food made from scratch every day, even the pasta is freshly made in the morning and not store-bought, but their Neapolitan-style pizzas are completely decadent. NB : You gotta eat them fast so they remain hot ! That’s the best way to have it.
She took me through the mountains to Sargan’s Castle, where the view was absolutely breathtaking… but the way to get there, it was also quite frankly incredible. Switzerland must be the most beautiful country I’ve ever visited. I’m so lucky that my best friend lives here, and whenever I get to visit her then we go explore the magic ✨
After that little pit stop, we went to the famous Bad Ragaz town. They have a 5 stars resort there, under Swiss standards, it is impressive. I was completely blown away by the place. Not only do they have the usual casino, spa, thermal baths and what not, but also Moët & Chandon champagne bottles available in vending machines… I’m not joking.
Super classy and luxurious. But also art-oriented, there are sculptures made of wood that look so human-like, you wonder if they’re alive. The parks are also pleasant, and overall this road trip was my fave 🤍
Happy as I can be, after three shots of Tequila (at least) in my drink… laughing with my bestie, and exploring the city of Santa Barbara. The weather was so nice and sunny. I distinctly remember how good we were feeling, and how everything just looked picture perfect. I will love and cherish this day forever 🥰🤗💋
There are so many Michelin stars restaurants in Paris, that it’s basically impossible to do them all, especially on a budget you’d think…
Well that might be true for the first part of the sentence, the second actually is possible. You can access an online guide of famous one star-Michelin restaurants, where they’ll make you a special lunch pricing, that makes it affordable to taste something out of the box.
We tried La Table Cachée by Michel Roth, it’s on a rooftop, so you have a gorgeous view on the Hotel de Ville. What’s funny is that in the title it says “hidden”, because it kinda is, since it’s inside one of the most luxurious department stores in Paris, the BHV.
