A dreamer, that’s what she was

A dreamer, that's what she was

It was unbelievable 💕

We wanted to go to the Champs Elysées for the last day of the Olympic Games, but I just couldn’t walk. So we sat in this cute square, while the sky was turning pink, and we were just enveloped in this beautiful warm atmosphere… it was almost like a dream, that we didn’t want to end. We just thought to ourselves, what a time to be alive.

Boudoir evening in Paris

Boudoir evening in Paris

We love going to the Hotel du Bourg Tibourg with my boyfriend ❤️

It has this antique boudoir feeling, where you can really have a moment to yourself, without minding the busy streets of Paris. It’s also in one of our favorite neighborhoods, so there’s a couple restaurants around there we enjoy coming back to.

I think Paris is definitely at its most beautiful in the summer, but like, summer here is more August and September. We get the prettiest skies, pinkest sunsets, and the weather is mostly a delight.

Beautiful medieval town

Beautiful medieval town

Here you go, second part of my Provins photos !

This time around, I walked a bit further into the city part and explored to see all the different type of houses there are, and focus on the medieval architecture. It was so sunny and hot, but still manageable for pictures. I don’t usually like when the sun is this direct, because the colors are too harsh when you shoot, but it ended up not being that bad post-editing.

The town is really lovely, unfortunately I didn’t make it to the castle. It was too far for my condition. I had to pace myself a couple of times to be able to do this outing without hurting myself too much in the process. That’s just how it is now, and I’m trying to adjust my life around it. But hey, I still get to go out sometimes and enjoy my hobbies !

A little trip to the Middle Ages

A little trip to the Middle Ages

Provins, the medieval city

I’ve come here before, but I love this little town ! First time was with my boyfriend, it was super romantic, we had a walk through the garden of roses : it’s stunning there, and so cute. Obviously had to come back with my family, because I don’t know one person amongst them who doesn’t like roses… so I had to share the spot 😊

There’s a lot of history in this place, Jeanne d’Arc came for mass, and they have knights tornaments, people dress up, etc… it can be really fun. Other than that, you’ll see from the pictures that it’s quaint and pretty for a day to hangout outside of Paris. I’m only posting the first part now, because I took too many photos. You’ll get the rest soon, xoxox

Although it could not be more Greek, Crete is really a country within a country, with its own history, folklore, and traditions.

Ah, lovely Heraklion ! We love you so 🤍

It’s the capital of the island, and it’s a must do ! You gotta stay at least a night, because the nightlife is definitely the best here since there’s so much going on with tourism & such. Also, they have the most amazing restaurants… I’d suggest Apiri : take the plate of seafood pasta, trust me. And Peskesi, which are some of my absolute fave places to eat. Don’t go for dinner before 9:30pm or so, people eat late there, it’ll feel empty if you go too early, and who likes an empty restaurant ? Not us !

It’s also the best city for visiting museums, and marvelling at the Cretan architecture. So much archeological sites to see. For hotel, I’d suggest to sleep right in the city center, so you can go by foot everywhere you need. I love the Metropole Urban hotel because it’s close to my favorite eateries, and it’s built on lively square.
