I shot those pictures with my Leica but decided to download them on my iPhone so I could edit using two apps (Mextures & VSCO), instead of Lightroom because I haven’t been in the mood for heavy editing. This was really easy and quick, and I’m pleased with the film-look / grainy results.
Hello 🙂 I’ve been absent again from the blogging scene… I like having a blog and being able to post what I want, but only when I feel like it. Blogging for me has always been an on & off thing, and that’s why I disappear from here for a while sometimes.
I realize I can’t achieve anything by treating my online platforms this way, but it’s not like I’ve ever actually wanted to make something serious out of it. All of this stuff are a hobby for me.
I went to Romania and Hungary while I was on this month-long blogging break, I visited the city of Timisoara and Budapest and shot plenty pictures. I spent an excellent time in Romania and had a wonderful couple days in Hungary (thanks to my friend mostly, who took this picture of me).
I’m in the mood to share some of these adventures with you, they’re too great to keep to myself… check back another day to see my updates, or sign up by email to be notified when something new is up.
Some stills from my video “Bits of LA” that you can watch on YouTube; I edited those pictures using the VSCO app, which has really cute presets and I’m enjoying the feels of this set. Totally missing the beach in Santa Monica & the model.
For this photoshoot I experimented with the flash on my Leica for the first time, and it wasn’t as bad as I’d thought it’d be. We went for a sleek look, black and white pictures, I did the makeup; I was really into a big winged eyeliner. I’m definitively gonna keep using the flash for future shoots.
But we made it work… new photoshoot available for you guys, with my muse 🙂 more pictures are coming soon, I did not edit everything because I’ve been sick this week & took antibiotics that made me super sleepy. I’m happy with the results of our impromptu shoot, I like that it feels a bit blue and melancholic.
