I love summer walks 🤗

I’m doing short updates lately, pictures-wise, because I’ve been editing photos from a trip. It’s basically from my archives, and I can’t wait to post them… probably next week ! In the meantime here’s some lovely shots from home, with a gorgeous bouquet my mom gifted me 💞 and the beautiful shaded road next to the river.

A dreamer, that’s what she was

A dreamer, that's what she was

It was unbelievable 💕

We wanted to go to the Champs Elysées for the last day of the Olympic Games, but I just couldn’t walk. So we sat in this cute square, while the sky was turning pink, and we were just enveloped in this beautiful warm atmosphere… it was almost like a dream, that we didn’t want to end. We just thought to ourselves, what a time to be alive.

Surrendering to simple things in life

Surrendering to simple things in life

I get lost looking at the skies

There’s something just so peaceful about it. I watch it all unravel from my window, how Mother Nature is so strong and beautiful. Then I go for walks in the woods, and there’s more enchantment to be found there as well. It’s never-ending when we can disconnect from everything but what grounds us.

On another note, I’ve opened up my closet on Vinted… click here to see what I’ve put out ! 🤗

Chemin de Nietzsche

Chemin de Nietzsche

My boyfriend loves Nietzsche, so I surprised him with this hike !

I knew there was this beautiful path that the philosopher used to take to get to the medieval town of Èze. It’s definitely more for experienced hikers, and not for someone like me suffering from rheumatoid arthritis 😅. But I also read online that there were many spots along the way where you could sit and rest : and that’s absolutely true ! Without it, I wouldn’t have managed to get up there. It’s an hour hike, it took me over two hours… as you can imagine, I sat whenever I could.

It was a real challenge for the both of us, for him it was a special connection to the writer, and for me it was completely physical. Being quite recently diagnosed with two auto-immune diseases has been difficult for me, but I know I can’t achieve anything if I let that be the best of me. So I push myself, and I’m always happy when I reach my goals, like this one ❤️.

Medieval town

*Pictures taken in Provins, France ❤️

I’ve been less and less into blogging lately, for various reasons…

As you know I’m taking online classes, that I started a while back, and I have to finish them pretty soon, as I have a deadline for my certificate… so there’s that.

Then, I need to finish up my boyfriend’s website, and then my own ! I’ll let you know more on that stuff soon-ish.
