Walking the Streets of Belgrade

Stari Grad

This wasn’t a predicted project. I started filming what I was seeing in front of me, as I was walking the streets of Belgrade. It was a long stroll so I edited the video mostly as a timelapse; used an iPhone 6s to record the scenes.

I’m in love with cities i’ve never been to, and people i’ve never met.

Botanical Garden in Belgrade

I’m spending my summer in Serbia, and falling in love with the nature here. The other day I went to the Jevremovac Botanical Garden in Belgrade, and it was such a delightful morning ! Walking amongst those big trees and various plants & flowers, was almost magical.

Museum of Science & Technology

I freaking love Science !

This museum was definitively my favorite place that I’ve visited while I was in Belgrade last weekend. They had so many objects exhibited that told the history of humanity through technological advances; I thought I’d faint when I saw for the first time ever an Apple Macintosh Plus computer ! Took the pictures below using a VHS app on my iPhone, because I really wanted to show how awesome it felt being there, amongst those ancient things.

where to eat gluten free & vegan food in Belgrade

W Sushi
Sushis are always a great idea because they’re made of rice, algae and fish or vegetables which are all gluten free. It’s the easiest lunch or dinner stop for me.

Cold Pressok
My newest discovery, and the best one yet. Not only do they have cold pressed juices, but also foods like my all-time fave : kale chips. Everything is 100% vegan & gluten free.

Elixir Juice Bar
As the name indicates, they make real healthy juices but also fruit salads and other type of yummy things, like vegan bites.
FRIEND, NOT BACON

Ice Box
It’s an ice cream shop that has vegan & gluten free ice creams : try the dark chocolate, it’s my favorite 🙂

Idea Super
It’s a supermarket that sells some vegan & gluten free options. There’s two different types of Idea though, search for the “Super” tag name next to it because it’s not always available in the other ones.

Apropo
Is a bookstore but also tea place, which has cats running around… so cute ! I love going there, great tea selection, and very chill.

my blog is SUPER messy

I have no idea where I’m going…my blog is SUPER messy© Photography by Madison Kennedy

I am back from my extended weekend trip to Belgrade with my sister Dakota 🙂 It was so much fun ! OMG guys, I’ve got so many things to share & really can’t wait to edit it all and post it on The Blog.

But I just realized something… although I love the way I’m blogging nowadays (since I’ve relaunched my blog) which gives me a lot more freedom, and time to experiment and create things; it has become kinda messy.

The perks is I don’t feel like not blogging, because it’s not something I have to do anymore, it has become plain fun and a real hobby, which makes me come back to it more often than during the big break I put it through & when I wondered should I keep it up ? I don’t ask myself those questions now, I love blogging more than ever !

I guess though, I definitively want a little bit of consistency. Sure it’s nice having fun and all, but I totally get lost in my daily life doing whatever because of that. & then I just simply forget on those stuff I enjoy doing and making, because I don’t have a reminder since my schedule has become completely open to anything & it can be nothing at the same time.

That’s what’s not cool. That’s why it’s SUPER messy ! I’m gonna fix that though, it won’t be a pressure on me since it’s a change I decided on, for the best. It’s actually probably gonna be really good, I’m gonna be able to think, work & publish everything I’m into, and not have another week go by and feel like I missed out on something important.

So, stay tuned for what’s coming ! xoxox
