Back from my winter break

Back from my winter break

Took an unannounced break !…

Several reasons to that, main one being I’m not doing my best during winter time as I have rheumatoid arthritis, so my joints don’t appreciate the added cold on top of everything else. Since I’m not going out much, I don’t really have any content to share.

I’ve finished sharing with you all my past Greece vacay pictures, so I basically need new travels or hangouts to update The Blog. With spring coming, it definitely will be easier for me to get out and do that !

In the meantime, here’s a short recap of my past few months (mostly January & February) xoxox

Watching Twilight in my head because I know it by heart

Watching Twilight in my head because I know it by heart

Last post on my Switzerland trip !

Oh my gosh, I’m so nostalgic… I’ve literally had the best time. I mean it was beautiful, the mountain sightings were breathtaking ! My best friend took me to see some amazing things I will never forget. The air was so pure up there, it was delightful to feel connected to nature like this, and appreciate its wonders.

I’m hoping I can go to her again soon, I know she’ll come visit me in Paris, but I want another Swiss road trip ! Let’s pray that my recovery speeds up and well 🙏

Switzerland road trip

I’m so glad I had this little vacay time with my bestie ❤️ It was an extended weekend I’ll never forget ! I hope I get to go back this year as well, as this is just memories from last year. Movement has been so hard on me with my autoimmune disease, but I’m a wellness warrior. I love traveling, so I’ll do whatever I need to get back in shape for that 🤗

My bestie decided on the most amazing road trip !

She took me through the mountains to Sargan’s Castle, where the view was absolutely breathtaking… but the way to get there, it was also quite frankly incredible. Switzerland must be the most beautiful country I’ve ever visited. I’m so lucky that my best friend lives here, and whenever I get to visit her then we go explore the magic ✨

After that little pit stop, we went to the famous Bad Ragaz town. They have a 5 stars resort there, under Swiss standards, it is impressive. I was completely blown away by the place. Not only do they have the usual casino, spa, thermal baths and what not, but also Moët & Chandon champagne bottles available in vending machines… I’m not joking.

Super classy and luxurious. But also art-oriented, there are sculptures made of wood that look so human-like, you wonder if they’re alive. The parks are also pleasant, and overall this road trip was my fave 🤍

What’s your birthstone ? mine is rock bottom

What's your birthstone ? mine is rock bottom

These are the last of my photos from Les Arcs, in the French Alps. Obviously I didn’t shoot many pictures because I was ski-vacationing, but also we stayed at the same place for the entire week, and it’s just different sets of mountains around. Which is beautiful to look at peacefully, and enjoy, but without the need for any electronic device.

For some reason, the white balance was dreadful… impossible to edit properly because of that. I guess it was too white ? It jammed my iPhone lenses, couldn’t get the colors in order. So I decided to use a film emulator, with grains and what not, and just leave the pictures in plain black and white. I like the grungy results it gave me.
