Sunsets state of mind

Sunsets state of mind

I love sunsets because they remind of LA ☀️

California definitely has the best views, whether it’s a forest, or a sunset, or beaches… everything’s grand and beautiful. I always miss being there, because in the back of my mind, I can never truly forget those feelings. Sure enough when I’m looking at the sky, and it’s this pretty, I’m transported back there inevitably.

But okay, France is also gorgeous. I mean if I had to choose, I would still pick where I’m at right now. It just brings me so much comfort, and a feeling of being safe… which you can’t really have in the US, unless you’re like well-off. I would love to move to the South of France in the near future though, because sea, salt and sun anyone ? duh.

Obsessed with sunsets

Obsessed with sunsets

I have so many pictures of the sky, it’s become an obsession

Especially from the last two years, because I’ve been stuck so often at home from being sick. Basically my main outlet was shooting from my balcony, and like I said in previous posts, I have a 180 gorgeous view.

What’s the most amazing thing is that every day it is different, Mother Nature never disappoints ! She knows how to create the most spectacular beauty. I can’t say it enough, how I love watching sunsets until dusk, with ever changing clouds and colors, it’s a true marvel.

Chemin de Nietzsche

Chemin de Nietzsche

My boyfriend loves Nietzsche, so I surprised him with this hike !

I knew there was this beautiful path that the philosopher used to take to get to the medieval town of Èze. It’s definitely more for experienced hikers, and not for someone like me suffering from rheumatoid arthritis 😅. But I also read online that there were many spots along the way where you could sit and rest : and that’s absolutely true ! Without it, I wouldn’t have managed to get up there. It’s an hour hike, it took me over two hours… as you can imagine, I sat whenever I could.

It was a real challenge for the both of us, for him it was a special connection to the writer, and for me it was completely physical. Being quite recently diagnosed with two auto-immune diseases has been difficult for me, but I know I can’t achieve anything if I let that be the best of me. So I push myself, and I’m always happy when I reach my goals, like this one ❤️.

Enjoying the Mediterranean sun in Monaco

Enjoying the Mediterranean sun in Monaco

Whatever happens in Monaco, stays in Monaco ? 🇲🇨

This place is a little bit like Las Vegas, but with a heavy French Touch… so it’s beautiful ! Gorgeous even ! The city is basically divided in quarters, you have the casino one (with all the fancy luxury stores), the riviera where you can spot extravagant yachts, and the old town where the castle is, on top of a hill : which was my favorite.

Watching Twilight in my head because I know it by heart

Watching Twilight in my head because I know it by heart

Last post on my Switzerland trip !

Oh my gosh, I’m so nostalgic… I’ve literally had the best time. I mean it was beautiful, the mountain sightings were breathtaking ! My best friend took me to see some amazing things I will never forget. The air was so pure up there, it was delightful to feel connected to nature like this, and appreciate its wonders.

I’m hoping I can go to her again soon, I know she’ll come visit me in Paris, but I want another Swiss road trip ! Let’s pray that my recovery speeds up and well 🙏
