I shot those pictures with my Leica but decided to download them on my iPhone so I could edit using two apps (Mextures & VSCO), instead of Lightroom because I haven’t been in the mood for heavy editing. This was really easy and quick, and I’m pleased with the film-look / grainy results.
Here are a couple shots from a very urban area in Zurich, Switzerland. A lot of cool graffiti and street art there, I absolutely loved visiting the place with my best friend. Bright colors in an industrial setting…
I “messed up” my model a little bit for this photoshoot – I had this idea of shooting pictures of her in a bathtub, with this rock girl look. She wasn’t up for the grunge part, she thought we were gonna do something glamorous but I just needed her to trust me on this, because I knew it would look bomb in the end.
Beautiful natural elf-like set with my muse, we played with a sparkly golden makeup and I drew some stars on the side. We went outside for the shoot : it was nice out and windy, a perfect summer day.
Apologies for being MIA, I was passing my finals : I signed up three months ago for an online course from Yale University and I wanted to focus on that & nothing else until I got my certificate. After 73 tests my general grade is 95.6% so I’m happy I am finished with that and I’m back to shooting new sets for The Blog, also new videos.
Enjoy this little preview of my model, I’m going to post the rest of this later…
