Fashion is something really important in my family; my dad and
grandmother worked in the fashion industry before they retired…
but my mom has not gotten to retirement yet, so she’s still working.

She is currently at Barbara Bui’s and gets to go to
runway shows during fashion weeks, which must sound pretty
exciting to most of you, but for me, her daughter, fashion week
is the worst time of the year and it happens twice.

My mom gets so busy before it starts, and while it’s happening,
that I barely see her. When it’s over, it’s no better, she’s too
exhausted for anything. It’s part of her, and my family, I
grew into liking it. Fashion in France is elegant, extravagant &
has a rock touch to it – below I’m sharing my favorites brands.
