"What do you do for a living" I do my best

It’s always a good idea to take off for a few days to Switzerland, and get some fresh air. It’s especially good if your best friend lives there, and by just seeing her your energy is replenished.

Paris has this special gift of making people depressed… I mean, I’m not even joking. If you live there, you know. Looks pretty like a postcard on the outside, but on the inside it’s cold, grey and dirty. It weighs you down, after a couple of weeks, you need new horizons or else it takes the best out of you.

And I’m definitely not one to let it get to me, which is why I travel so often. I need to escape.

The best view is from up above…
When I’m not up in the air, I miss the feeling of seeings things higher than the clouds can. I like looking down at the earth, our beautiful little planet it is… so tiny actually. And I’m even tinier, a dust really. But I get to experience so many different places, and emotions. How can that be nothing in the face of infinity, when my thoughts feel infinite already. I don’t understand what I’m made of really, but I do believe the saying that it’s stardust. I definitely feel the energy of a sun in place of my heart, especially when I’m not touching the ground.

Sometimes, my mind sees colors that don’t exist… and some days when I wake up, everything’s in shadows. The deepest blacks overcoming whites, until there’s no more. Until it’s all just grey.

I haven’t traveled this much in years… so thankful that Covid is kinda behind us; 2022 is definitely the year of travels for me. Here’s some more pictures of this cute little town we live by, named Svilajnac. It looks almost like any basic Serbian town, except that it’s prettier, colorful, super clean and there’s a dinosaur museum… the Geek & Cottage Girl in me is in love with this place.
