This is an old video that I’ve never uploaded… it just felt too personal. Dates back to 2019.

I can still hear the waves from the West Coast

You’re in my mind, and on my mind…
Whether I want to think about you, or not. I still do. You’re like the sweetest poison that I gladly took. I’m infected in every area of my body, and I still can’t get enough. What a beautiful overdose that is LA.

“Los Angeles weather is the weather of catastrophe, of apocalypse.” Joan Didion

I’ve always loved the smell of chaos, right before it starts…
There’s an indescribable feeling of calmness, for example before a storm hits. That’s basically what if feels like being in LA. You’re like surrounded by this constant feeling of pre-catastrophe. Nothing happens really, probably because everything is happening at the same time. So it’s just like a million-people buzzing, and the chillness in the air, is the result of it.

You got that special kind of sadness, you got that tragic set of charms, that only comes from time spent in Los Angeles.

LA, you are driving me crazy… but no matter what happens, I don’t want to go far away.
The end of my vacay is nearing, and I just hate knowing that fact. There’s no place in this whole wide world, where I’d rater be depressed and sarcastic. Something about this city makes me feel like I’m normal… probably because no one is, so that’s the actual “normal” here. Just being yourself, you exist in layers, and people praise you for it. Gosh, I wish this was the case where I live.
Whenever I’ll need to feel my normal-self again, I’ll just be right back at ya ! 💋

Decided to go check out the local Erewhon store to see what the hype was about… not worth it.
They definitely have good items, but I’m sorry I’m not paying 18$ a smoothie, nor 25$ for pasta sauce or yoghurt : like shut the f*ck up. No matter if I were a billionaire, this is just stupidly annoying. I left and went to Whole Foods instead, tons of organic choices for fair prices. Why would I care to pay more, for less ? This LA trend I do not agree with. Bye.
