VONS GROCERY DELIVERY SERVICE

I tried out Vons delivery service for the first time and it was a very good experience… I gotta say, I don’t think I’ll go out for grocery shopping anymore. Ordering online is much more easier; you don’t need to walk through aisles and waste your time, get tired and sometimes not even find the product you’re searching for because it is out of stock momentarily…

Well, at least they have everything online, and it is really simple to find what you need, based on what you’re looking for. You can put prices to be “low to high” so you directly see the cheapest products first, and there is always some cool discounts that you can use, or you can even shop through your history of purchases, which wins time considerably.

Regarding the delivery, it was scheduled between 12 to 1 pm, and the delivery guy showed up at 12 pm precisely ! Carried all my bags to the kitchen so I don’t have to, and left politely. I got water, paper towels and delivery fee offered since it was my first order, and I’ll definitively be using this service instead of going grocery shopping myself, from now on : it always was a big bother going to the supermarket. No more !

P.S. to my Geek followers : first issue of Geekland magazine will be out in April 😜 stay tuned !

SAN DIEGO !

I went to San Diego for a couple days, with my friend. It was our first time visiting and the city is really chill… like, so chill you almost start wondering is this place for real ? Do these nice people living there know what life and stress mean ? Did we get sucked in some sort of Twilight Zone ? lol but seriously, it is an awesome and beautiful place. I highly recommend it if you need a break from L.A., a change of air and relax your mind : this is a good spot for it !

We stayed at the Hilton hotel, in Gaslamp quarter 😊

WHY DO CELEBRITIES WEAR UGG BOOTS IN L.A. ?

From left to right : Miley Cyrus, Megan Fox, Britney Spears

Los Angeles, the city of Angels… the city where temperatures can easily round up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit (over 32 degrees Celsius) during Spring ! Yet, we can see many celebrities wearing those big comfy UGG boots; ever wondered why that is ? I’ll give you my theories, based on my personal experience.

From left to right : Eva Longoria, Hayden Panettiere, Chloe Moretz

Well as most of you know, I live in L.A. and I’m a big UGG fan : I love them booooots ! I wear them almost every day, mostly because I like them, and because they are the best most comfy shoes when it comes to walking. They make you feel like you are still at home, in bed somehow. Also they are hyper trendy ! Who doesn’t want some cool boots ? Not me, I want them all 😜

But I guess the main reason would be because L.A.’s temperatures are treacherous… say what ? Yes they are, completely misleading. I mean especially in the morning, it gets real chilly over here. We’ve got those cold winds coming from the Pacific ocean, and since basically the whole city is a giant open bay, you can’t really hide from them.

Most people, like me, dress lightly because in the afternoon you know it’ll get hotter. & because no one feels like dressing for winter with those nice sunshines… besides, trying to find “warm” clothes in L.A. ? Where ? Good luck with that lol – also, last theory is that most celebrities are between pretty slim to skinny, so they don’t have much fat in their bodies to protect them from cold : so yay to UGG boots ! Saving our lives !
