MY FAVE MOVIES SET IN FRANCE

These are ten of my most favorite movies set in France.
Most of them are french movies, but there are some
american too. If you’re going on a trip to Paris, I’d
recommend you watching either one of those.
They all capture a particular french touch.

FRENCH MUSICIANS I LISTEN TO

In France young generations (like mine), are listening to music that is stuck between the 70’s classy & hippie, and the 80’s electro & glam rock mainly. The contemporary artists surf on that musical flow.

KAVINSKY, Protovision

BB BRUNES, Nico Teen Love

PLASTISCINES, B*tch

AIR, Playground Love

BB BRUNES, Perdus cette nuit

PLASTISCINES, Comment Faire

COEUR DE PIRATE & JULIEN DORE, Pour un infidèle

DAFT PUNK, Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger

JUSTICE, Phantom Pt. II

The last one is not a french musician, but the song is about Paris so it’s totally relevant to this playlist;

LADYHAWKE, Paris Is Burning

VIVE LA FRANCE !

I am dedicating this week on my blog, to France.
Everything I will publish from May 4th to May 10th,
will be related to Paris particularly, which is my hometown.
I am flying back there from Los Angeles in about two weeks,
and I was feeling a little blue and excited at the same time,
so I thought I’d share some french things I really like.

Hope you’ll enjoy !
