New set from the series of “B&W experimentations” I am currently working on, shooting exclusively my muse. I focused on her eyes mostly in here, and we went with a “clean” look, putting her hair behind her ears to show the face fully. I edited starting with three different types of B&W filters, and from there I worked the details so that each picture kind of has its own thing.

FULL OF STARS
I like looking at the stars… at night when I can’t sleep, I slip out of
my bed and open a window to stare at the billions of suns that
sparkle the sky. I think about the universe and other beings
that must live out there. I think about how strange all those
things I’ve learned about the cosmos are…
I am passionated by Astrophysics and sci-fi movies, Star Wars is
the ultimate geek bible to me ! I wish there was a way I could
travel across galaxies, and witness what I dream about; maybe
that’s why I’m a runaway from this human life, and keep traveling
the planet with a thirst for an adventure that I will probably
never get to experience.
But if there was one wish I would want granted, is to leave,
far far away… to these unknown horizons.

WEEKEND BREAK
UNITED STATES CALIFORNIA, San Diego
It was a beautiful day and I wanted to take a couple of pictures from the bay and Corona island, but I needed to find a place high enough for this. I spotted the Hyatt Waterfront hotel, walked there and took one of their lifts to the last guest floor and started this photo shoot behind their huge floor-to-ceiling windows. My lens is 400mm but it can stretch up digitally to 1,600mm.

I really enjoyed “playing around” with the new Apple Photos, I most often now will use Adobe Lightroom but I did not for this darker black and white set of pictures. I found out you can actually do some cool things even with a really basic editor like Mac is offering. I managed to get the results I wanted, which were : going for more intense blacks.
