It’s so Kozy here !

It's so Kozy here !

Yummy brunch spot alert 🤗

Omg, I’ve wanted to try this place for quite some time, and I got to with my sister Dakota 🩷 she’s my ride or die, and we always have such good fun time together, so I couldn’t hope for better… except maybe if Naomi, my other sister, was here too, then that would have been perfect.

My sister went in for the pistachio pancakes, which were a limited seasonal item on the menu. She loved it so much, she finished everything right up. She got herself a matcha latte, while I got a caramel latte : I honestly can’t stand matcha lattes, I just always find them borderline nauseating 😂 I really don’t understand the hype, even though I love myself a traditional matcha tea, prepared in a bowl with just hot water.

Anyway, I got the fruit waffles : and they were huge ! I did not expect this size, I literally couldn’t finish. Probably ate at least half of it, and finished the fruits of course, before stopping. I would say it’s more than generous, but maybe not necessary to make such a huge waffle. I for sure will never reorder that item on their menu again by myself, because it’s just too big for me. This is something you share.

Nonetheless, everything was delicious ! And I had the best time, and the latte was super yummy, I didn’t even need to add extra sugar. Also the vibe is so cool, everyone speaks English and it’s close to Notre Dame, and my favorite library which is Shakespeare & Co.

Rating for this super brunch spot would be 8/10 ✨
It’s definitely a place you should try if you like yourself a good ol’ American style breakfast, but with a touch of “modern” since there’s pistachio and matcha and what not.

It’s time to go home a little

It's time to go home a little

Having Willie Nelson – On The Road Again, playing on infinite loop in my mind 🤩

Going back to my roots has always given me the best of feelings ! It’s literally healing, and G.od knows I’m always in need of that. Spending time in the countryside is nourishing for the soul, I always feel happy and at peace when I finally get to my Grandma’s home. Being surrounded by simple things, loving things, is exactly what life is about ✨

By the way, I’m leaving you with another song from Willie Nelson – Pancho and Lefty 🤠

I still can’t believe we have a Krispy Kreme in Paris ! 🍩

Krispy Kreme was so part of my American life 😍 Back in California whenever I was craving some donuts, I’d go there if I could. Sure there were other options, but I was always a Krispy Kreme fan. I’m bringing everyone I know there now, with a side of coffee for optimal enjoyment.

Paris is always so beautiful when it’s sunny… it’s so unfortunate that we can’t have much of that weather.

I'm officially at the age where I'm not upgrading my phone until it stops working

What a special week it has been !

We celebrated our sixth years anniversary with my boyfriend ❤️✨ incredible that after all these years the flame is still there, and just grows stronger with time !

Besides that, I’ve been putting in the work in my photography stuff, and I came up with cool things for the future, so I’m pumped in advance… just hoping my health will allow me to successfully do my projects, even though I don’t have the stress of a timeline.

The weather has been beautiful, for this beginning of spring : I’m so grateful, and praying it stays like this 🤗

For Sichuan cuisine, come to Trantranzai !

For Sichuan cuisine, come to Trantranzai !

What a change of scene !

This restaurant is a fave of my boyfriend, he loves noodle soup made with that special Sichuan pepper. Sichuan pepper has an incredible taste. He loves it so much we even bought some to use in our homemade Asians dishes. If you don’t know what it is, don’t be a fool and try it out 😂

So Trantranzai (that’s the name of the place), is quite famous in Paris. Not only is the decor kinda cool; you feel like you’re in a little joint in the middle of nowhere-China. But also the food is good !

I don’t know what they do to their noodles, but they’re always delicious. It’s a fun experience to be there, you can also choose how spicy you want your food to be (my boyfriend goes for 4, while I’m not that adventurous… I take 0 🤣). The only thing I’m not a fan of, food-wise, are the desserts. They’re a bit bland. I’m also not a fan of bubble tea, it’s too sweet for me.

Rating for this restaurant is 6/10
I can’t grade them better because last time they forgot half our order, the soups are also usually too salty. And also you have to tell them to watch their fingers, otherwise they don’t and it’s so unsanitary.
