Starting the week with flowers

Starting the week with flowers

I got a couple of really nice bouquets lately ❤️

The first one was gifted from my sister Dakota, who has always impeccable taste in matters of flowers (also any type of interior / exterior design). She handpicks everything she wants in a bouquet to make it extra personal, and it’s always a joy for me to receive flowers from her.

Second one was gifted from my dad, who chose white Casablanca lilies, they smell incredible and are so gorgeous. Additionally in France, lilies are the symbol of royalty. And last bouquet was gifted from my cousin Mila 🤍 sweetheart, who came to Paris for a visit and spent the afternoon at my place, lunching. She chose incredibly beautiful tulips that lasted me a week ! I feel so blessed 🙏

Ending the week on a good note !

Ending the week on a good note !

Sold some pictures ! 🥳🙏✨

I honestly never thought I would be able to sell some of my photos again. I used to do it when I was living in L.A., and that was one way for me to make some extra bucks and spend on my lifestyle, and it was truly a joy because basically I was financed for some travel & hangouts with this; taking beautiful pictures as always been my prerogative anyway, so I was living the life for me !

When suddenly 500px changed their rules on monetizing, I found myself deprived of being paid for my favorite hobby, and it definitely put a strain on my photography adventures and the way I share them… come to realize now that they’ve put back in place fair monetization, I’m back at it trying it again, and it’s slowly starting out.

Now I’m just realizing that I’m such a small hobbyist photographer, that I definitely don’t have enough visibility, which is what I need to get in order to evolve even better. I’m gonna try my best on that ! xoxox

The sky is the limit

The sky is the limit

I’ve been really at peace these past few months 🤍

Spending more time with family and dear friends, enjoying more hangouts with my boyfriend, and trying to find holistic ways to heal my body and soul. I’ve been appreciating the nature that surrounds me so much, I feel so lucky to live in a beautiful place like this…

All of the pictures in this post were taken from my balcony. Every single day when it’s not completely gray, the sky delivers a magnificent show to the eyes. I’m always here for it. It inspires me, and calms me. I can’t wait for spring because it’s even more beautiful then.

Back from my winter break

Back from my winter break

Took an unannounced break !…

Several reasons to that, main one being I’m not doing my best during winter time as I have rheumatoid arthritis, so my joints don’t appreciate the added cold on top of everything else. Since I’m not going out much, I don’t really have any content to share.

I’ve finished sharing with you all my past Greece vacay pictures, so I basically need new travels or hangouts to update The Blog. With spring coming, it definitely will be easier for me to get out and do that !

In the meantime, here’s a short recap of my past few months (mostly January & February) xoxox

Although it could not be more Greek, Crete is really a country within a country, with its own history, folklore, and traditions.

Ah, lovely Heraklion ! We love you so 🤍

It’s the capital of the island, and it’s a must do ! You gotta stay at least a night, because the nightlife is definitely the best here since there’s so much going on with tourism & such. Also, they have the most amazing restaurants… I’d suggest Apiri : take the plate of seafood pasta, trust me. And Peskesi, which are some of my absolute fave places to eat. Don’t go for dinner before 9:30pm or so, people eat late there, it’ll feel empty if you go too early, and who likes an empty restaurant ? Not us !

It’s also the best city for visiting museums, and marvelling at the Cretan architecture. So much archeological sites to see. For hotel, I’d suggest to sleep right in the city center, so you can go by foot everywhere you need. I love the Metropole Urban hotel because it’s close to my favorite eateries, and it’s built on lively square.
