A little trip to the Middle Ages

A little trip to the Middle Ages

Provins, the medieval city

I’ve come here before, but I love this little town ! First time was with my boyfriend, it was super romantic, we had a walk through the garden of roses : it’s stunning there, and so cute. Obviously had to come back with my family, because I don’t know one person amongst them who doesn’t like roses… so I had to share the spot 😊

There’s a lot of history in this place, Jeanne d’Arc came for mass, and they have knights tornaments, people dress up, etc… it can be really fun. Other than that, you’ll see from the pictures that it’s quaint and pretty for a day to hangout outside of Paris. I’m only posting the first part now, because I took too many photos. You’ll get the rest soon, xoxox

Dreaming of pink and purple skies

Dreaming of pink and purple skies

But I’m not just dreaming it, I’m living it

I’ve always been a lover of beautiful skies, and that’s the main reason I love flying. Taking the plane has never been a challenge for me. My mom put on a plane when I was only 8 months old, and since then, whenever I could go somewhere flying, I would. I’ve taken so many times flights from Paris to Belgrade to see my grandma, even as a child, accompanied by the cabin crew members of Air France.

It’s been magical. Since I cannot travel as much as I used to, because of my autoimmune disease, I spend my evenings on my balcony watching amazing sunsets. I’m so lucky that I have a 180 unobstructed view, and I can take pictures as if I was on board of an actual plane ! At least, that’s how it feels like. 💕

The Olympics Games in Paris are gonna be France’s Fyre Festival

The Olympics Games in Paris are gonna be France’s Fyre Festival

We went on a boat tour unexpectedly ! 😅

It was such a cloudy slash, rainy day in Paris ! But it wasn’t like heavy rain, it was a bit scattered, and we went for a walk with my love, and all of a sudden I see this boat across the Seine river and I’m like “do you want to go for a boat tour ?” and my boyfriend says “why not, when’s the next tour starting ?”

I’m checking the schedule and realize it’s in seven minutes 😂 and he’s telling me we’re not gonna get there, and I say “we only have that bridge to cross, we can make it… and if I can’t, run for it and hold the boat” oh my gosh… of course we ended up getting right on time, and it was beautiful and fun, and crazy of us.

Because it definitely wasn’t the right weather for it, my boyfriend was so cold, he wasn’t dressed for it. We were on the roof ! But I held him, and it was fine. Guess what, it was actually our first time doing this touristy thing here, so we learned stuff in the process… and the clouds gave us gorgeous views, and a particular light over Paris, ugh pretty ✨

I’m officially at the age where I’m not upgrading my phone until it stops working

I'm officially at the age where I'm not upgrading my phone until it stops working

What a special week it has been !

We celebrated our sixth years anniversary with my boyfriend ❤️✨ incredible that after all these years the flame is still there, and just grows stronger with time !

Besides that, I’ve been putting in the work in my photography stuff, and I came up with cool things for the future, so I’m pumped in advance… just hoping my health will allow me to successfully do my projects, even though I don’t have the stress of a timeline.

The weather has been beautiful, for this beginning of spring : I’m so grateful, and praying it stays like this 🤗

Promenade to the Louvre

Promenade to the Louvre

This was my best challenge in a long time 😅

With my rheumatoid arthritis, I can’t walk like I used to… definitely not go to museums. But my cousin Mila was in town, and I had promised her the Louvre together, so that’s what I did. We went there, and I managed to get a couple breaks, but it was honestly really painful ! Don’t think I’ll be redoing that any time soon, because the aftermath was intense fatigue…

But on the bright side, I gave a nice tour of my favorite areas (the ones that weren’t closed, because yes, there’s a lot of renovation going on at the moment). We really enjoyed seeing the art ! I missed it, not gonna lie. It was almost worth the pain 😂 no but seriously, it was cool to pretend like I’m able to do these type of things.

So enjoy the photos, because that is it !
