I think the first time I fell in love with Yves Klein’s blue was many years ago, when I saw his sculptures at the National Museum of Modern Art in Paris. Such a intense and lively deep blue, extremely pigmented and incredible to look at.
I took an interest for his monochromes especially, his gold and pink collections are as magnificent as the blue, but my favorite was always that one. He was a french artist, whose work inspired Minimal Art and if you get the chance to check out his art in a museum, definitively do so, it’s a visual experience that I wouldn’t miss.
