MOVIE REVIEW OF THE WEEK / TOMORROWLAND – ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆

“You’ve got simultaneous epidemics of obesity and starvation,
explain that one. Bees butterflies start to disappear, the
glaciers melt, the algae blooms. All around you the coal mine
canaries are dropping dead and you won’t take the hint! In
every moment there’s a possibility of a better future, but
you people won’t believe it. And because you won’t believe
it you won’t do what is necessary to make it a reality.”

I love Disney 🙂 I sleep with four Disney “teddy bears”…
I have Nala from the Lion King, Stitch, the Cheshire Cat and
Bruce, the shark in Nemo. I must be going at least four times
a year to Disneyland Parks, once for every season : October
for Halloween, December for Christmas, Spring and Summer
for the parades ! It’s one of my most favorite place in the
world, it always makes me so happy and excited to go there,
I have tons of memories because every time it’s so much fun :
sometimes it feels like it’s a different world where
everything is possible !

Disney tells us to follow our dreams, like in the Disney
Dreams nighttime spectacular in Paris, they tell us
nothing is impossible, like in the Alice in Wonderland 1951
film, and in the movie Tomorrowland, they tell us not to
give up.

Tomorrowland is actually one of the five original lands of
Disneyland Park in California, it’s themed on space and the
future & of course : it’s my fave land of all ! I bet
you even already guessed which one is my favorite
attraction ? Star Tours 😛 when you’re such a Star Wars
geek as I am, that attraction is something you do at least
two / three times in the one day period you visit the parks.

But anyway, the Tomorrowland movie feels fresh, it’s not the
same as in the land, it feels new but keeps the futuristic
and space spirit. The story is entertaining; Athena is the
biggest revelation here, she’s a robot that leads the two
other main characters into saving the world. Frank is the
bitter genius that will bring all three of them to the
Tomorrowland place, which is based in another dimension to
Earth, and Casey has this energy because she hasn’t given up
yet, that will open up Frank’s eyes and help realize what
Athena hoped for. All in all, that trio rocks !
