one of my friend recently recommended me this cartoon, and after the first episode i was like “whaaaat ! this is so good !” it’s seriously becoming my favorite thing to watch, but i’m only done with season 1 so far; time to tell you a little about it 😄

what i liked the most, besides the occasional awesome soundtrack (yaaassss to featuring some great hits) are of course the many references to Star Trek & the kinda vintage sci-fi look to some drawings

the series was created by Matt Groenig & aired from 1999 to 2013, so unfortunately no more of this awesomeness to come in the future 😭 it’s an animated sitcom for adults, and the humor is perfect, i enjoy every bits ! am completely into this show, like crazy 😋 every time i’m on a lunch break i watch one episode of Futurama and that, wherever i’m at 😁

the main character Fry lived during the XX century but fell into a cryogenic tank and got frozen for an entire millennium ! when he awakes from it, he meets Leela a one eyed alien and his best buddy Bender the robot. all three start to work for professor Farnsworth who is actually Fry’s great-great-great….great-great-great nephew ! an old and senile man who possesses a delivery company and spaceship named the Planet Express

the whole concept is mega fun and this series is 100% geekproof, if you’re a true geek and haven’t watched this yet… then what the hell are you waiting for ! 😜 seriously the characters are all cray, throughout the episodes we meet some new members of the crew, such as doctor Zoidberg a complete wacko, Amy Wong an intern who shares the same blood type as professor Farnsworth (thus why he’s keeping her around), and Hermes Conrad the workaholic who manages the Planet Express and… and… let’s be real, i could talk about Futurama for HOURS but i won’t ’cause 😬 ….

because i need to leave you guys now 😛 i can’t stop myself ! need to watch the next episode !! season 2 here i coooome !!!
